CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEER – ELECTRONIC MANUFACTURING – 2736 – KF - CB

 

Our client, a short run printed circuit board manufacturer specializing in military applications located in the southwest suburbs of Denver, has a direct-hire need for a Chemical Process Engineer.  Credible candidates will have a related BS degree and at least 5-8 years of solid hands-on experience with a strong background in chemical processes for electronic manufacturing including past experience working in a high reliability military-manufacturing environment.  This role is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of chemical processes including application engineering of processes developed by suppliers that are planned for use at the facility, installation of these processes and/or equipment, establishment of operating conditions to produce product, daily monitoring of process conditions, and performing failure mode effect analysis to determine failure points of the process.  The client intends to hire a Process Engineer who can help sharpen the company’s competitive edge by implementing novel processes in their facility.  This role will be exposed to hazardous waste while performing daily job duties, will undergo chemical handling training prior to starting these duties as well as actively participate in ongoing hazardous waste and chemical handling training.  Physical duties require the individual to be able to lift 25 pounds without straining.  Core hours for this position are 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with an hour for lunch.  The individual will be on-call to cover 2nd and 3rd shifts.  This is a manufacturing facility so over time can be expected, which will including coverage on a rotating Saturday basis.  Only U.S. Citizens or those with a Green Card can be considered for this job as client works on Department of Defense projects.  If you have this experience, please email your resume along with a brief cover letter summarizing your related experience and your desired hourly pay rate.
