E-COMMERCE CHANNEL MARKETING MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION
The E Commerce Channel Manager position is a unique opportunity to be in on the ground floor development of this new & innovative marketing approach for our Client. The individual with help implement and promote e commerce through the Clients established network of dealers and retailers. An aggressive marketing individual with a sales mentality is required to help our Client take this next stage in their corporate evolution.

Responsibilities:
* Responsible for all Client e-commerce activities. Will help to create overall strategy for growth within the channel to include resources needed to achieve that growth.
* Oversees channel development strategies. Will provide input into web architecture & infrastructure needs.
* Work with e-commerce customers to collectively develop growth plans with the Client. Will frequently meet with customers to evaluate current performance and create additional growth plans where necessary.
* Oversees collaboration of information technology, sales & operations teams to fulfill e-commerce business strategies.
* Familiar with a variety of the field*s concepts, practices & procedures.
* Responsible for overseeing online sales & marketing programs for e-commerce distribution.
* Develops & edits product descriptions by working with product management team.
* Reviews, interprets data (Core Metrics) & provides actionable recommendations to improve site performance.
* Oversee & manage setup of e-commerce promotions, new offers, uploads of product images & other related activities.
* Maintain a deep understanding of the latest online marketing technologies & trends.
* Ensure brand standards are maintained in all web & online marketing content.
* Develop & implement product merchandising to generate traffic, landing pages and rotating site elements.
* Work with existing client base promoting e-commerce channel marketing.
* Report to Director of Brand & Channel Marketing.
* Travel initially could be 40%. Leveling off at 20-25%. All travel will be US based and concentration primarily on the West Coast.

Experience:
* Have a clear understanding of online shopping such as the example, Amazon.com
* Understand search engine marketing & optimization
* 5 years of experience with e-commerce channel experience
* 5 years of strong online product merchandising experience
* Solid understanding and experience with traditional brick and mortar channels of distribution preferred
* Account management experience exemplifying excellent customer service skills
* Strong background in analytics and online metrics & measurements
* Consumer product marketing experience
* Certified e-commerce experience
* Program/project management, communication & presentation skills.
* Data-driven decision making processes & procedures
* Knowledge of how to build great customer experiences
* A high level of enthusiasm, test & learn approach and ability to handle the unexpected within a growth position.


EDUCATION
College degree, preferred
