The Global Function units at Citi include Audit & Risk Review, Compliance, Control & Emerging Risk, AML, Citi Security and Investigative Services (CSIS), Finance, Strategy, M&A, Investor Relations, Global Public Affairs, Human Resources, Legal, Risk Management, Global Community Development and Microfinance. These functions provide critical support to the Citi business units. The Global Banking Finance & Strategy group supports the Global Banking Division by driving financial performance metrics combined with management reporting for revenues, expenses, headcount, and balance sheet from a regional, sector and client view.  The role is located in New York, NY, but there will be a liaison with the finance partners globally.Key Responsibilities:- Preparation and global coordination of all financial reporting processes - monthly results, monthly and management business reviews (including Board meetings and Town Halls), monthly/quarterly flash- Develop and coordinate the Annual Budget, 3-year strategic plan, and the Forecasts throughout the year, as well as the quarterly outlook projections with regional, product, and corporate partners- Prepare competitive analysis for externally reported products in preparation of CFO quarterly calls, and review and reconcile the public disclosure results for Investment Banking Products- Prepare Investment Hires Business Cases presented to the Board- Liaison with regional counterparts and close interaction with ICG Planning & Analysis team, Banking HR, Expense Management team, ICG Client Analytics, and other groups within Banking Finance- Manage monthly scorecard process to align strategic business goals from Global Business level down to regions/country/sector, while working with IT to enhance monthly automated reports- Manage Bi-weekly MD Client Visits report process as measure of Coverage intensity- Conduct detailed headcount analytics- Drive control / system process including hierarchy approvals and functional implementationDevelopment Value:- High degree of visibility with senior management both within Banking and Finance- Gain Global Banking business knowledge (market, industry, Client and product)- Interact with senior management and functional partners (i.e. HR, ICG Client Analytics, ICG P&A)- Continue enhance managerial and leadership skills (both upward and downward)- Improve ability to deliver under tight deadlines
