Kelly Services is hiring! We are searching for experienced Inventory and Logistics Clerks for a possible temporary to hire job opportunity in Aurora!
The job details are as follows:
Assists in initiating actions and plans to address and resolve simple to moderately complex logistics or scheduling issues. Performs complete staff work in analyzing and identifying the root causes of cost, quality and availability problems. Monitors and resolve all system “in transits” to line locations to ensure record accuracy. Typically these in transits are resolved at the dock before reaching the line, but storage control will be responsible for cleaning records and performing initial root cause.
Counts and adjusts line side (Point of Use) inventory to maintain record accuracy.
Runs a daily line check report to monitor demand for the next 5 business days or more to add shortages to a dispatch (shortage) list.
Selected candidates must meet the following criteria:
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Minimum 1 year of Inventory / Logistics experience
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift during shift, if needed
Ability to communicate with various levels of management, supervisors, and peers
Ability to work in a Warehouse / Logistics environment
