 Description

Skilcraft is a 45 plus year old precision sheet metal fabricator.  We focus on servicing OEM’s with standard products as a contract manufacturer. 

We are seeking a manufacturing/industrial engineer to join our operations team.  Our products are generally low to medium volume with high variety.  We need a team member focused on making improvements to our designs and methods.

Responsibilities

• Utilize lean methodologies to make improvements with our team across the organization
• Improve material flow to increase throughput
• Analyze individual methods to help develop and implement best practices between shifts and operators
• Review/create work standards
• Create departmental and facility layouts
• Facilitate kaizen improvement events with team members from all parts of the organization
