Job details:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Leading Continuous Improvement/Problem Solving activities including SMED, MRS sizing, 5 Why’s. Train others in CI activities and tools.
Machine set-up reduction.
Write Standard Work; Maintain visuals (SW, load chart, LWWPP)
Supervise
set-up/operator personnel, assembly and shipping personnel: Holding
others accountable for performance, attendance, setting PD aligned
measureable goals, write performance reviews, coach.
Ability to listen and get clarification of agreements.
Ability to lead, evaluate and align team. Identify greatness and grow people.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum 5 years front line supervisor experience in a metal cutting manufacturing environment required
Acme screw machines / CNC experience preferred
Must be able to read, write, speak English fluently
