Retail company seeks an experienced Merchandising Application Lead, working to help implement, enhance and support merchandising systems. The ideal candidate will have a blend of strong technical skills and leadership capabilities to lead both IT and Business teams in the development, support and maintenance of merchandising systems. In this role you oversee and execute all aspects of related projects from business analysis, technical design, project management, training, maintenance and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leads cross functional team in new development and support of merchandising systems and new technology or infrastructure projects and production systems.
Lead new infrastructure requirements by performing capacity planning, manage backup and recovery processes and oversee installations and maintenance activities.
Evaluate technical designs and recommending appropriate solutions.
Develop project plans and work estimates of technical project components.
Work with business users in delivery of training and maintain user guides and related documentation.
Manage systems to ensure system availability meets agreed upon service level agreements.
Collaborating with others throughout IT to ensure timely and successful issue resolution.
Identify new methods of improving system performance and stability.
