Job summary

We are looking for an SAP Logistics Analyst, who has experience implementing, configuring and supporting SAP Logistics with functional and configuration knowledge of Materials Management, Production Planning, Warehouse management, and Sales Distribution integration. The analyst will use in-depth consulting skills, business knowledge, and packaged solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged and custom technology into the clients' business environment in order to achieve client expected business results. The primary functions will be to use analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance Logistics processes. This position will also have responsibility for business process review, change management, and systems integration which support supply chain planning and operations. Monitor and maintain operational readiness of SAP Logistics and WM system; providing support as an on-needed basis. Take ownership of critical issues, enlist proper representation from other IT support teams and drive towards resolution. Resolve SAP functional/technical system issues as identified by Business Partners, including review of business process and appropriate SAP document workflows to identify causes and recommend corrective actions.

Summary of essential job functions

• As a SAP Logistics Consultant, you understand the logistics processes, and are able to convert these into SAP
• Hands-on experience with SAP Logistics MM, PP, WM, and SD
• Convert the analysis into a blueprint and are able to set up the logistic SAP modules and set the parameters
• Provide innovative and efficient SAP solutions
• You are capable of supporting Whitaker-Taylor commercial activities such as presales and demonstrations
• Analyze and map client's business requirements to SAP Functionality and their requirements for system support
• Create clear and concise documentation describing requirements and agreed processes
• Experience with global organizations and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills to communicate with non-technical clients, IT professionals, and management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines
• Strong customer focus: Ability to provide end-user and advanced level training and communicate new functionality to appropriate levels in the organization
• Ability to review a complex problem and present a summary of options, benefits and risks to be considered
• Must be able to operate comfortably in both technical and business process situations
• Detailed analysis of what is happening in currently installed programs
