Social Media & Marketing Project Lead

Job details:

The Social Media & Marketing Project Lead will be responsible for overseeing all social media marketing efforts supporting the overall company communications strategy. This position will be responsible for assisting and supporting VisionIT’s rapid growth by supporting  local and national sales efforts, supporting delivery teams, and various departments within VisionIT that are related to the overall sales and delivery efforts.  This position will report to the CIO and will interface with a variety of teams including the Executive Leadership Team, IT and Proposals and Human Resources teams and will impact current clients and employees as well as potential candidates and clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conceptualizes, maintains and monitors our overall Marketing and Communications Plan including theme and design selection, copy and messaging, scheduling and branding from initiation to completion
  • Creates innovative, online marketing campaigns, develops viral communication strategies, and manages enhancement of the company internal and external websites; updates using best practices in digital and social media marketing to achieve recruiting and marketing goals
  • Translates a marketing plan into an effective project timeline with milestones, due dates and deliverables and report results to stakeholders
  • Develops and strengthens relationships with external PR firm, technologists, bloggers, influential reports and trade professionals with the goals of improving VisionIT’s brand equity and awareness.
  • Develops Social Media plans and strategies with lines of service
  • Develops and executes Inbound Marketing Lead Nurturing strategies for sites/blogs, calls to action, and landing pages
  • Obtains and analyzes reports from VisionIT website, LinkedIn, HubSpot, Twitter, and Facebook
  • Serves as project lead for social media, making suggestions and engaging others as needed to execute
  • Assists with materials and communications media to symbolize effectively the services and products of the company to customers and candidates
  • Writes presentations, speeches and drafts for senior management
  • Develops draft social media layouts and text  and presenting for approval and review
  • Manages layouts and designing of communications such as presentations, newsletters, event support materials, research papers, and brochures
  • Conducts and plans market research activities of service lines (surveys, analysis of materials, focus groups, etc.)
  • Manages Event Planning Activities including conducting research regarding technology/ecommerce events, selecting optimal events and coordinating activities

 

  • Listens for company communication needs and identifies opportunities for recognition
  • Presents recommendations for social media, inbound media, campaigns, and materials
  • Develops and coordinates multimedia packages such as brochures, letters, purchase displays, etc.
