The social media coordinator develops, maintains and evolves strategies to grow the Poughkeepsie Journal’s reach and engagement across all platforms. The coordinator, who reports to the digital editor, is a non-exempt employee who will integrate social media into all efforts; lead in-house training and mentoring; participate in optimizing day-to-day social-media efforts by Information Center staff members; help define standards; manage metrics to identify and maximize opportunities; drive community leadership; and more.
