We are currently recruiting for an Software Development Manager to bring our professional Development and Engineering Department to the forefront of innovation.
The candidate should have extensive experience with project and technical management and have proven leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

Define technical and product strategy for the company and create a unified product-suite.
Translate business problems into effective technical solutions by leading the Research and Development team and providing strong supporting research.
Monitor best practices, trends and new technologies and evaluate for possible adoption.
Provide direction and supervision to an intelligent team of Engineers.
Gather project requirements.
Deliver technical design documentation.
Develop top quality products as defined by product roadmap.
Lead thorough testing of all products and features.
Recommend and effectively implement department specific procedures.
Ensure project goals are met within scheduling and budgeting parameters.
Lead and facilitate effective technical related communication within the team and with other relevant groups to define system requirements and necessary modifications.

Qualifications

10+ years of web technology or software development experience including 3+ years of manager-level experience and 5+ years of hands on development experience working with key technologies such
as PHP, Symfony, Zend, MySQL, LAMP, Java, JavaScript, HTML, xHTML, CSS.
Unified Modeling Language architecture experience.
Experience with the full development lifecycle (application development, systems design and architecture, maintenance and support).
Experience managing high traffic/enterprise level web applications (e-commerce, CRM, social media, media)
Bachelor*s Degree, relevant advanced degree is a plus
