The HUMINT Training-Joint Center of Excellence (HT-JCOE) trains U.S. Military and U.S. Government personnel in basic and advanced HUMINT collection operations, based on DoD requirements.  Raytheon Computer Systems Technologist employees provide support to the HT-JCOE training operations during on and off-site exercises in the United States.   The Sr. Computer Systems Technologist will revise existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.  Assignments which are in direct support to HT-JCOE unclassified and classified courses include information security support, network setup and installation, software use, and performance monitoring and tuning as well as reviewing and ensuring integrity via standardized support tools.  Key tasks include providing computer and network support on classified and unclassified networks to course operations; coordinating additional support with other installations or activity IT support organizations; and serve as Information Assurance Security Officer (IASO) and/or Terminal Assurance Security Officer (TASO).  The Technologist may also be required to Position is full-time exempt (salaried) working with the Life Cycle Contractor Support for the Warfighter FOCUS (WFF) program under the Warrior Training Alliance (WTA) at the U. S. ARMY HUMINT Training-Joint Center of Excellence (HT-JCOE), Norfolk, VA. The work identified by this requisition is being funded under an OAWR (Over and Above Work Request) 317-BCTS-USAIC-014.  Currently, funding is available for this work during the PoP (Period of Performance) of: 27 Sep 2012.  Based on the status of the project near the completion of the PoP, additional funding may be provided/negotiated with our customer.  perform routine administrative functions, coordination, instruction, and other duties in support of training. 

Required Skills:

  • Individual may be subject to a Department of the Army Cryptographic Access Program (DACAP) polygraph in accordance with AR 380-40.

  • Within 6 months, the individual must be certified IAW DoD 8570.01-m at the IAT Level II or higher.

  • Must be certified as a "Windows 7, Enterprise Desktop Support Technician" by taking and passing Microsoft Exams 70-680 & 70-685 or 70-682 if the individual has a previous qualifying certification.

  • Pproficient in Windows Active Directory services, Windows XP/Vista/7 as well as having some experience with Windows Server 2003/2008 and thin clients using either Microsoft Terminal Services or VMWare View Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI).

  • All necessary certifications must be maintained by completing the continuing education requirements required by the qualifying certificate vendor throughout the duration of employment.

    Special Requirements:

  • Possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License

  • Maintain military installation driving privileges

  • Fluent in English with the ability to read, write, and comprehend technical documentation, schematics, and diagrams

  • Must be a U. S. citizen

  • Able to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET SCI security clearance

  • TDY travel may constitute up to 25% of time

  • Must be willing to work overtime and irregular hours.

    Required Education (including Major):

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent industry certifications and have a minimum of 4 years experience.
