Sr. Java Developer (XML, XPath, and XSD Schemas) - E-Commerce

Since 2004 my client has been providing an industry leading enterprise-class e-commerce solution that puts power and innovation in the hands of merchandiser while eliminating the technical costs, risks and complexities of running an e-commerce operation. Their platform is the e-commerce foundation of more than 200 ecommerce websites and their clients include some of the world's best-known retailers and brands.

They are currently seeking a Sr. Software Engineer (Java) who will be participating in a multi-site development team responsible for building the next generation features for their leading on-demand E-commerce platform

If you are a Java Developer, Software Developer or Software Engineer with E-Commerce experience, please read on!

What you'll be doing:
• Developing products using XML, XPath, and XSD Schemas
• Designing, developing, and unit testing of critical functional components
• Developing and debugging Java applications leveraging industry standard development tools

Requirements:
• BS or MS degree in Computer science or equivalent
• 6+ years profession software development experience
• 4+ years professional Java development experience
• Proven track record delivering mission critical, enterprise web applications (experience developing SaaS applications a plus)
• Strong understanding of Object-oriented Design and Analysis, multithreaded and database programming in a Java environment
• Proficiency developing automated unit tests
• Excellent verbal and written communications
• Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multicultural development team
• Desire to work in a fast paced, growing, deadline driven, startup-up environment
• Complete understanding of the full product development lifecycle (design, development and testing)
• Self-motivated, driven to achieve committed milestones.
