A large international company (sphere of activity: FMCG) is looking for a specialist on the position “Transport and Warehouse Manager”.

 

Main accountabilities:

• Strategic planning:

Participates in working out, approval and implementation the company long medium short-term strategy-tactics-operations policies and instructions regarding logistics, distribution and transportation areas.

• Budget planning:

Creates budget on annual basis in assigned area;

Supports 3-year plan budget (volume + costs) on annual basis in assigned region.

• Operational management / monitoring, control:

Is responsible for warehouse operations and production logistics;

Control over capex projects execution. Defines main gaps and realizes action plan to improve results;

Prepare recommendations in order to increase efficiency of logistics business-processes;

Cooperate with functions of Supply Chain and other departments in all initiatives and actions in order to deliver raw materials and finished goods in time, in right place, with correct quantity and quality of products, by using high level of outsource service;

Work in cooperation with procurement department as a budget owner.  Participate in tenders on annual basis;

Monitor KPI execution by the direct reports;

Manage losses of finished goods and materials and their minimization at all stages of production and distribution process;

Ensure accuracy management of FG, R&P materials, spare parts and returnable empties.

• Reporting:

Regular reports, SWOT analysis on monthly basis.

• People management:

Assess the training needs;

Determine and assesses need for additional staff;

Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate people within the team;

Provide management tools.

 

Requirements:

Education: University degree.

Experience:

At least 3 years of relevant experience in logistics on managerial position;

Experienced in warehouse resource planning and transport management;

Experienced in budgeting.

 

Knowledge and skills:

 

Excellent knowledge in warehouse, production logistics;

Good understanding in transport and planning logistics;

Understanding of key principles of cost drivers, specific of the market;

Excellent communication, problem solving skills;

Analytical mind set;

English language - Upper-intermediate.
